Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized pharmacist to oversee the operations of our drug store. The candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining quality standards for all pharmaceutical products
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor stock levels of medications, ensuring compliance with proper storage conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity).
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records.
- Oversee the safe disposal of expired, damaged, or unusable medications.
- Place orders with authorized distributors and suppliers to ensure timely availability of medications.
- Verify the quality and authenticity of drugs received and ensure compliance with local regulatory standards.
- Handle purchase orders and maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including invoices, batch numbers, and supplier information.
- Ensure compliance with local and national drug regulations and licensing requirements.
- Manage records of controlled substances and narcotics as per government regulations.
- Perform quality checks on drugs and medical supplies to ensure they meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Regularly inspect storage facilities for compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
- Ensure proper documentation for inspections by regulatory bodies like MOH, DHA, or other relevant authorities.
- Provide insights on drug stocking trends and maintain updated knowledge on pharmaceuticals.
- Implement safety protocols for handling hazardous or high-risk medications.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) .
- Licensing: Must be licensed to practice as a pharmacist in UAE(MOH/DHA)
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with software systems for managing inventory.
