We are looking for an experienced Trainer to conduct awareness programs on heat stress prevention and first aid. The trainer will educate employees, workers, and stakeholders on recognizing heat-related illnesses, implementing preventive measures, and administering first aid in the construction site and outdoors.

Key Responsibility: 

  • Design and develop comprehensive heat awareness training programs tailored to the specific needs of construction laborers.
  • Incorporate relevant regulations, guidelines and best practices related to heat safety.
  • Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to construction laborers, emphasizing the importance of heat safety throughout sites in the GCC countries.
  • Use a variety of training methods, such as presentation, demonstrations, and hands-on activities to enhance learning.
  • Provide in-depth information on the risks associated with heat-related illnesses, such as heat stress, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.
  • Educate on the significance of breaks and rest periods in hot conditions.
  • Familiarize workers with the proper use of ORS and Electrolytes, shade structures, and other tools design to mitigate the effects of heat.
  • Trained workers to assess environmental conditions and recognize potential heat stress factors.
  • Foster a culture of safety and awareness among construction laborers, encouraging open communication about heat-related concerns.
  • Modify training strategies as needed to continually improve the impact of heat awareness training.

Qualification and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Occupational Health & Safety Certifications, OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or any related certification
  • Fluent in Hindi and English
